I was playing around on my builders-platform in Plebeja (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Plebeja/217/187/223), idly looking for any use for prims which rez more prims on touch, when I heard in the radio about the International World Water Day. They told some very amazing facts about water – and with every fact, I felt wiser and more enlightened 😉
The transition of this moment into Second Life in form of the Water Tower in the Lythria Zoo of All Things (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lythria/39/86/70), went almost natural. It became on its own the classic ‘path to wisdom’: where the single levels are opened by inspirations – and you have to walk all the way 😉
As usual you will be rewarded on top: Be the Weathergod yourself and let it flash and thunder and rain like before the flood 😉
To start the ascent, touch the lion head – wait and think about the message on the panel (it will disappear in 20 sec!) – follow the ramp slowly to the next lion head to touch. If you go too fast and miss a step, you have to walk from the beginning. Do not try to fly in the building. Take your time, the ramp will disappear only after 15 min 😉
Have a seat by the fire after your climb to enlightenment and calm yourself down by the waterfalls.
The facts on the panels are from different sources online. Check it out yourself – we may live in a virtual world, but the problems of the real world have to concern us deeply all the same. In the end there is only one Real World …
The water texture is from the library. The human bodyparts are made by Pumpkin Tripsa from Chakra Nova (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Rafail/129/49/2495). The sculpted water as the granite blocks are made with the wizards by Ronnie North from WildWizardWare (http://wildwizardware.com/ – sorry, no inworld link to be found anymore). The weathermachine is made by Damanios Thetan from the Collection Damiani (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Damania/125/130/34). The world globe is copyable 😉
Please donate generously if you like the place. All donations will be in favour of the continuous elaboration and extension of Simple’s Lythria Zoo of all Things (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lythria/39/86/70).
And send a postcard of your visit to firstname.lastname@example.org 😉
be nice and have fun …
